Turkey Burgers

INGREDIENTS:

1 ½ lbs. ground turkey breast
½ medium red onion, chopped
½ red bell pepper, chopped
1 egg white
2 scallions finely chopped
½ c low-fat cheddar cheese
¼ c Franks Red Hot sauce
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. black pepper
½ c. bread crumbs- made from crushed up Ritz wheat crackers

6 whole-wheat hamburger buns (optional)

DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (approximately 350°).
2. Thoroughly combine all ingredients in large bowl and form patties.
3. Grill approximately 6 min each side or until internal temp is a minimum of 165°
Serve on buns (if desired) with spicy mustard and / or salsa
